Oxygen: An Asian inspired interior shop on Jl. Kunti

Oxygen is a trendy looking shop on Jl. Kunti that stocks a selection of interior decorations. Walking in I saw Buddha’s of various sizes and other decorations including wind chimes, wall hangings, Japanese soup bowls, cushions and candle holders. The staff told the biggest customers were Europeans and Australians. While checking out some of the prices, I noticed that a glass candle holder with the face of Buddha cost 450,000rp.

The staff told me that a ‘wholesale price was available for that item and also for anything else. She looked up the piece in a book and offered 350,000rp for 5 pieces and up. I’m sure you could bargain for an even better price for a larger order. Oxygen lists its products as ‘Zen interior, lava and limestone crafts, glass creation, jewelry and Buddhist art, candles and incenses’. They also say they are a manufacturer and exporter. The shop is open from 10am-6pm
