Lunch at Warung Batavia in Kerobokan Bali
Warung Batavia was on the cards today for lunch and I swung in just before midday. Located on Jl Raya Kerobokan close to the top of the Sunset Rd. The thing I like about Batavia is the food is different than Padang food, in that the sauces have a different taste and the overall taste is sweeter.
When I showed up today there were 2 other customers. I quickly went to the counter and order nasi putih (white rice), curried jackfruit, spinach, potato, eggplant and salty fish. It was delicious and together with my OJ cost 33,000rp. Warung Batavia is not the cheapest place, but is a nice variation on Indonesian food.
