Kunti : Japanese restaurant in Kuta
Lower Jl. Legian is the location of a handy Japanese restaurant which is popular with backpackers and tourists alike. Located 30 meters from the bottom end of Jl. Legian, Kunti serves a good range of sushi, sashimi and traditional Japanese dishes. I stopped in today for a cup of green tea and a Sushi Set (combination of Nigiri sushi and rolls, 50,000rp).
Kunti is small and today I was the only customer. To the left as you walk in, is a Japanese style seating areas that can fit 8 people, between 2 tables. There are also 4-5 western style tables on the right side as well as a sit up sushi bar.
Kunti is open daily for lunch and dinner and the menu is as follows:
Appetizers including Ohitashi (15,000rp), Soup & Salad including Miso Soup (10,000rp), Noodles including Tanuki Soba / Udon (25,000rp), Fried Food including Ton Katsu (25,000rp), Don Buri including Oyako Don (25,000rp), Sushi & Sashimi including Chirashi Sushi (40,000rp) Ala Carte Sushi Menu including Tuna / Maguro (8,000rp), Tataki Style (Sashimi) including Shiro Tataki (white marlin with ponzu sauce, 40,000rp), Ala Carte Sashimi including Snapper / Tai (25,000rp), Mono Maki / Sushi Roll including Nato Roll / Nato Maki (15,000rp), Kunti also has 4 set menus from 50,000rp -110,000rp including a vegetarian menu.
The drinks menu features soft drinks, wine, beer, juices, teas and hot / cold saki. A small Bintang is 10,000rp.
