Hu’u: Cosmopolitan relaxation in Kerobokan Bali

Hu’u is an attractive restaurant / lounge bar, located Jl. Petitenget in Kerobokan. Check out the Beat Magazine when you get to Bali, or simply log into Baliblog’s bi-weekly nightlife update, provided courtesy of the Beat Magazine. Whatever you choose, you are sure to come across Hu’u mentioned somewhere. This modern-minimalist styled restaurant, provides a relaxing space for a cocktail, a cool place for dinner, and party pad for later in the night.

Hu’u was started in December 2001 and has been a great success, with expats and tourists enjoying its cool atmosphere. Hu’u is handy for people staying at hotels on Jl. Oberoi, or villas in Seminyak, Kerobokan or Canggu. Hu’u is perfect for couples, people preferring a lychee martini, too a gallon of Bintang.

According to Hu’u’s website, “Any discerning gourmand will melt at first taste of our menu, a work of art in its own right. Indulge in our sublime selection of authentic local flavours, fused with a sense of experimentalism found in French and Italian cuisine, to take you on a spectacular culinary experience found nowhere else but at Hu’u. “ I hope the guy who wrote that, is the guy doing the cooking.

The restaurant is open from 4pm-11.45pm. Tapas are available from 11pm-2am.
