Interview with Jennifer Renniger in Seminyak Bali
American tourist Jennifer Renniger has recently arrived in Bali for a thrilling 8 day trip. Jennifer came Portland Oregon via Singapore and started off her trip by missing her plane. Staying at the beach end of ‘party street’, Jl. Dhyana Pura, in Seminyak, Jennifer is getting over her jet-lag by relaxing, getting massages and manicures. Today she called me and I took her on a ride around Kerobokan. My intended lunch stop was Warung Gossip, but on arrival at 1.30pm, the food was wiped out.
We rode over to Warung Batavia for some Javanese food. It was delicious, if a little expensive at 75,000rp for both of us, plus 2 drinks. Jennifer is planning a trip to Ubud, followed by East Bali. I recommend hiring Roy, Laura’s driver and having the freedom to explore, instead of worrying about transport issues. Jennifer hopes to buy some nice furniture and ship it back to the US. Will be interesting to see what bargains she gets hold of.
Sitting on my porch this afternoon Jennifer got a taste of the wet season, the sunshine being replaced with dark clouds and a 45 minutes downpour. No worries, its all aprt of the experience.
