Hotel Reviews in Bali

Bali is home to 20,000 hotel / guest house rooms, a staggering amount for such a small island. These range from 25,000rp a night guest houses to ‘the best hotel in the World (Four Seasons Sayan), according to Travel & Leisure.

Baliblog has reviewed some of the hotels and guest houses in an attempt to break through some of the nonsense. I have found that many of the hotel sales teams will read the brochure to me, when I ask questions, as they have been told to by their boss. Problem with the ‘company line’ is it speaks to no one. When you have 20 hotels in Nusa Dua all ranting on about white sand beaches and romantic evenings, you can’t see the forest for the trees.

One thing that is treu is that you can’t really get the full impression of a place without staying there, but my visits try to at least gain a partial impression of what they are like.
