Photo of the Day: Candi Bentar – Kuta Beach

One attraction sure to please all visitors to Bali is the Candi Bentar currently under construction on Kuta Beach near the Sailfin Restaurant on Jalan Pantai Kuta. A Candi Bentar is a split gateway that is the entrance to a temple (pura). In regard to the one being built it represents an entrance to Kuta and or Bali and on the other hand, an entrance to the shores of Kuta Beach. It is one beautiful piece of architecture that, when finished, will be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and a construction sure to be viewed by all from a plane about to land at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
