Ask Rolf Potts a Question, Win His New Book!
Lots of travelers I know like nothing better when they’re not traveling (and often when they are) than to read something by a good travel writer – something that’s not just inspiring, but informative as well. Rolf Potts is that kind of writer, and his first book, Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel, is a testament to that fact.
Now that Rolf’s finally come out with a second book, BootsnAll is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, September 17th we’re not only hosting a stop on his virtual book tour but we’re also giving away 10 copies of the new book as part of the deal.
The new book is called Marco Polo Didn’t Go There: Stories and Revelations from One Decade as a Postmodern Travel Writer, and it’s not just because Rolf’s been a long-time friend of BootsnAll that we think it’s great. To find out more about Rolf’s travels and the new book, stop by this post on the BootBlog and ask Rolf a question – he’ll pick 10 of the questions he gets to answer during our meeting with him on the 17th and those lucky 10 folks will get a copy of the book. You’ve just got to leave your question before the 17th. And make it a good one!
To ask a question for Rolf – about the new book, the old book, his life, his travels, or how he takes his tea – leave a comment on the BootBlog post linked here before Wednesday, September 17th.
>> UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who participated, the virtual book tour stop was a great success. Rolf answered 12 reader questions, and you can read the whole interview here.
