BCA Card Center Bali

People wishing to draw more than a couple of million rp out of the ATM machine can do it at the BCA Card Center in Kuta.

Located on busy Jl. Raya Kuta, close to the petrol station, the Card Center (massive sign outside) open from 9am-3pm Mon-Fri will dish out 10m rp per day, after you present your debit / credit card and ID. The staff swipe your card through a machine, without the need of a PIN number and its deducts 10m rp from your account + 30,000rp fee.

After completing this transaction on a couple of occasions I felt pretty comfortable, until I checked my online banking and saw 2 deductions where there should of been 1. Returning to the branch I presented my receipts and web printout. The manger kindly explained his system only registered 1 transaction, leaving me confused. As it turned out the 2 transactions were ‘waiting to be processed and had not gone through yet, probably generated by a short power outage or system hiccup. After a few days my bank processed one of them and canceled the other. BCA Card Center seems okay, so might work for you if you need cash fast.
