World Cup Blog: BootsnAll’s guide to FIFA World Cup 2006

Soccer lovers are getting ready for a summer of fun. FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany is kicking off on June 9th, featuring 32 nations. Among those countries are the USA, Australia, Iran, Brasil, Germany and Togo. Four years ago, my friends at BootsnAll.com put together a ‘garage-style’ website, on the eve of the competition that turned out quite well. We called it World Cup Blog.

This time around we’re all going to the World Cup, and our site now features 32 blog sites, 1 for each country. Its a lot of fun, and when the games start we’ll be writing all kinds of nonsense, as well as some factual stuff about football. If you want to follow World Cup 2006, bookmark the site and check us out a few times a day. Advertise your business there too, its easy.

The great thnig about World Cup Blog, is that you can post comments, just like Baliblog. All the other big football sites, like FIFA.com do not allow you to do this, as they are not really interested in what you think (same for most of the big hotel bookers here in Bali).

If you are in Bali during the World Cup 2006, there will be games on TV, although fairly late. Europe is 7 hours behind and the earliest games are likely to start around 9pm, Bali time. If you want to travel to Germany for the FIFA World Cup 2006, here’s a link to our World Cup travel section.
