Garuda to continue using Bali as second hub

Somebody’s thinking in Jakarta! Garuda Indonesia has decided today, to continue using Bali as a second hub.

Bali is Garuda’s second hub after Jakarta and to most people, it was obvious why, $4 billion dollars of tourism money every year. The proposed cutting of Bali, would mean Australian tourist from the east coast, would have to fly either through Jakarta or Perth, to get to Bali.

If I was in charge of Bali tourism, I’d make Australia Job #1. I find Aussies to be extremely loyal to people / places they like. Average warungs become famous, because people recommend them to their friends, and repeat themselves. When the Bali tourism machine is rolling again, the Australian market will be where the major dollars come from.

So good news for Bali veterens, who are planning a return trip.
