Time to workout in Legian Bali
Its 1pm and the sun is blazing here in Seminyak Bali. I just ate a chicken salad made by chef Ika and am ready to go for some exercise. The gym is called Sunset and is located on Blue Ocean Beach. My limited hours membership (10am-3pm) cost 2m rp for a year (half the regular membership). Sunset is small, but new and had AC. I still sweat like a whore in church, but way less than I would in an open place. Today I’ll knock out some crunches, use the chest press machine, fly machine then hit the eliptycal runner for 30 minutes. A pretty small amount of hard work, but I pack it into a small time frame. After which its back to Baliblog.
If my abs get strong enough maybe I will try to break this guy’s fitness record. I think expats often struggle a bit with staying in shape. The weather is hot, the streets are not the best place to run, the beach is slanted when the tide is in and there is so much good food. You can let yourself get out of shape without even realizing. Lucky for me I like working out so changing gear is no prob.
