New table lamp in Seminyak Bali

Working in my bedroom I am fairly comfortable. There is a ceiling fan, AC and a couple of lights. One thing that happens in the evening is that the power fluctuates, meaning the lights go dimmer. When that happens its hard for me to read and see my keyboard. Today I went to the upstairs section of Bintang supermarket and for 22,000rp bought a table lamp. It’s quite bright to have up close, but I plugged it in near my window, giving me a nice amount of extra light.

The staff at Bintang, took it out of the box, put a bulb (balloon) in and made sure it worked. I also picked up a new multi-plug adapter, with the plugs coming out at right angles. Sometimes the square adapters with 4 closely packed sockets are not so useful when you have electronic devices with big plugs.

Some more shoe glue was on order as well, as was a 75 watt bulb for my porch. The whole thing was 45,000rp. Pretty cool that I can get things organized for little money.
