Jevon in bucket: Seminyak Bali
Enjoying the small moments of a kid’s development, is what its all about. The other night, Jevon was banging a 10 inch tall drum, with a foot long plastic stick. Little bugger was trying his hardest, but seemed to get the length of the stick to hit the same time as the head. As a responsible parent, I was encouraging him, by banging out a rhythm on the bottom of a large plastic water jug. “Look at you both, you behave like kids,” said Ika. Oh well, can’t please everybody.
After the red hot chili pepper saga, Jevon sought refuge in playing in the garden. Our flower pots are full of tadpoles, some with legs. Ika feeds Jevon in the garden sometimes, and knows what the tadpoles like, as well as what Jevon likes. They like plain rice and pureed papaya with banana. Today she tipped some in and we watched them zoom in.
This afternoon I heard laughing (high pitched) coming from our bathroom. Jevon was inside a bucket, simultaneously playing with the shower hose. Pembantu Ana, was trying her best to control him and as a Gemini in water, he just didn’t want to leave.
