Indonesian Multiple Entry Business Visa

One of the first things I had to take care of, after arriving back in Bali is my visa. I came in on a VOA (visa on arrival), and want to renew my Multiple Entry Business Visa. Before leaving for Europe, the staff at Arjuna Immigration Services, told me Multiple entries were not given out anymore.

People who had previously been on a Multiple, would be allowed to continue. The advantage of course, is that with 1 set of paperwork, I can keep extending for 18 months, as long as I leave and come back before the paperwork expires. Being in Europe for 2 months meant I could not continue, so I have to start from scratch. On a single entry Multiple, you will have to file papers for 2m rp, leave the country for a day, file the papers at an Indonesian Consulate, and get 60 days on arrival. You will be allowed to extend that 4 times for 30 days apiece, costing 500,000rp twice and 600,000rp twice.

Riding a motorbike is something that doesn’t require too much pressure on the feet, and I zoomed over to Arjuna’s offices on Jl. Petitenget in Kerobokan. The staff photocopied my old passport and my new one (obtained in London). I signed a form, handed over 2m rp and will pick up the paperwork in the next few days. Easy as that.
