Indonesia relaxes law on permanent residence for foreigners

Bali expats got a boost with the news the government relaxed the rules regarding permanent resident status. Said legislator Boy. W. Saul “”Basically, we agreed to ease the procedures for foreigners who believe they are entitled to Indonesian citizenship or permanent resident status.”

I believe I’m entitled to everything. The move is designed to attract and help those people who can most help Indonesia like researchers and investors. Well fancy that, we’re going to make life easier for people who can help us! What a concept, why didn’t someone come up with that one 20 years ago? I thwink I’m stwupid.
