Getting my stuff together in Bali

Great to be back in Bali. Awesome! I feel more than ever that this is the place in the world I want to live. I feel lucky to have a lovely wife, son, friends and great business partners that make this all possible. My challenge is to be a nicer person, and not get caught up in all the small daily annoyances. Its the big picture stuff that counts, and for me its all A+.

Since I have been back I been getting my gear back in shape. The laptop now works at wi-fi places, my camera needs a visit to the doctor and my phone needed a new SIM card. I took the SIM card to Germany, allowing Ika to use my phone with a different SIM card. Coming back I lost the SIM card and had to get a new one. Having my number on about 5,000 business with the old number on, and didn’t want to lose it. Ika said she could get a new SIM card with the old number on. She had to go to the police station, make a report and pay 20,000rp. Then she bought a new SIM card, aslking for the old number. They asked her for 3 numbers I had called using the old number, and she remembered 3 friends of mine. Hey presto, new SIM card, same number, for just 15,000rp. We popped it in and its works. After typing in some of my old phone numbers and sorting out my wallet, I found the old SIM card. What a moron!

Here at Joulla’s on Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak, the connection is good and the beer is cold. Come on by and say hello sometime.
