Amanda from Seraya Shores talks about East Bali

Amanda Plummer, the Australian owner of Seraya Shores and general manager or the Alila Manggis, talks about the joys of East Bali.

Amanda Plummer started building Seraya Shores several years ago. She bought land on a deserted stretch of coastline, and the first structure was a ‘bale’, the 4 post Balinese shelter. Amanda slept out there for months trying to get an impression of what she was trying to create and how it would work with the forces of nature. The result is Seraya Shores.

Here’s an interview with Amanda.
