Refreshing rain in Bali

Rain is so natural and such as aprt of my vision of Bali, I actually welcome it. The wet season in Bali is long overdue and for me at least, it was wonderful to drive from Amed, through the sweeping valley that leads to Tirtaganga and through to Amlapura. The rain battered our car and at one point, the road was just awash with water. I explained to Toby, that the Eastern part of ali gets less rain than the SW area and can look mighty brown and dry in September.

Visitors to Bali who tour the island right now, are in for a treat! Everything is green, lush, tropical and the ricefields are full of water, ready for planting. Bring our camera, because the vivid emerald green, combined with the rolling slate grey clouds, are a photographer’s dream.

The weather forecast has changed since my last update. Here’s the 10 day weather forecast for Bali.
