Raja’s reopening in Bintang in Seminyak Bali

Raja’s restaurant, the site of the October bombing in Kuta Square, will reopen at Bintang supermarket in Seminyak. I go to Cafe Seminyak every morning, and one of the waitresses’s sister used to be the cashier at Raja’s. She spent time in hospital and more time at home in bed. She will agian be the Raja’s cashier.

The area where Bintang supermarket is gets a ton of traffic, the difference is that its mostly expats, with tourists thrown in. In this neighborhood places that get a good reputation do good business. In Kuta its more hit and miss. If Raja’s is to do well it has to serve up some good food. It defintely has the handy location that’s for sure. Maybe I’ll interview the cashier when it opens.
