The cool thing about travel in Bali is getting out of the tourist areas and onto the road exploring the countryside. Bali is the kind of island that will constantly amaze you and even more so when you are out on road trips. It’s not only the beautiful scenery, the stunning terraced ricefields and temples, but it’s also what you see travelling on the road.

You get to see a lot of crazy things in the streets of the tourist areas but when you get out of town; then the bizarre and unusual seems to appear everywhere. I am always astounded at what people carry on motorbikes and the unusual things you see on the side of the road. So, next time you are on a roadtrip in Bali, take some time out to check the unusual as you travel on your journey.
