Photo of the Day: Magical Sunset

One of the delights for travellers and tourists alike is the fabulous sunsets in Bali and Lombok. It is amazing just how many people flock to the beach just before sunset in the hope of obtaining a beautiful sunset photo.

Of course Kuta Beach is the most popular but anywhere along the stretch of coastline gives you a splendid view. These particular images I captured whilst at the rear of Centro Discovery in Tuban.

It is stunning to see the golden orb swallowed by the sea but it is the following twenty minutes after the sunset that provide the spectacular colours. This of course depends on the cloud formations, if any.

You don’t have to have the latest DSLR and all the gear to capture fabulous images. Any digital camera will afford you stunning images.
