Off the Beaten Track in Bali
The fabulous thing about Bali is that you don’t have to restrict yourself to just the tourist strip. Instead, take a few days to head out into the country and explore Bali and all its beauty. There are many ‘regular routes’ for organised tours that most hotels offer. But, it is so much better if you explore on your own.
You can do this by hiring a vehicle or motorbike or hire a driver with vehicle and this way you can set your own agenda. Besides the heavily-trafficked tourist routes there are a few great off-the-beaten-track areas in Bali that will astound you. Not only will you be rewarded with some spectacular scenery and interesting villages, you have the opportunity to go where the regular tourist doesn’t go.
Here are a few off-the-beaten-track articles that I think you will find interesting. Enjoy!
