Mercedes Corby says foul play at Sydney Airport

Mercedes Corby, sister of Australian drug trafficker, Schapelle Corby, said in an interview with a Sydney radio station, that something is fishy, about the missing security tapes at Sydney airport.

Schapelle Corby was caught in late 2004, with over 4kg of marijuana, coming into Ngurah Rai airport from Sydney. According to the story, she was accompanying family members to attend a small birthday party. An Aussie expat who lives in Bali, told me it was supposedly a large drug party, but that’s neither here nor there. The drugs didn’t make it to the party, and Schapelle has been dealing with the legal consequences ever since.

Mercedes told Sydney radio interviewers, that she is highly suspicious, of the 3 hour gap in security videos on the day Schapelle transited through the airport. Mercedes suggests someone may have planted the drugs in Schapelle’s bag. Its also possible that one of her relatives, some of whom have drug convictions, may have planted the goods. The case remains inconclusive.
