Kuta Beach Bali

Kuta Beach was windy and partially deserted today. Steeping across the street from McDonalds, I was careful not to get hit by a taxi or a stray motorbike. once on the beach I could tell it was high tide with the amount of surfers in the water. Kuta Beach has little spots where the waves break better and all the locals know them. One surfboard renter approached me and said “Hey mate you want go surfing?” “No” I said, “I’d drown today.” The wind spoiled the waves and made the ocean look like soup.

Beach vendors were wrapped up against the flying sand and board renters weren’t doing so hot. Another day another opportunity. Maybe tomorrow we’ll have sun and it will be good times again.
