Coordinates for places in East Bali

Visiting Candi Dasa this last weekend I stayed a place called Flamboyant, a set of guest houses just before Candi Dasa, in a place called Senkidu. I paid 50,000rp per night and follwed the advice of my guide book, selecting this place. Not sure i’d go there again, but Flamboyant does share a driveway with 2 other places, one being the Pelangi (that’s the sign to look out for on the main road).

Probably next time I’ll give one of the places at the far end of the main street a try. The beach I checked out was empty and with the hotel and poolbar right there, could be great place to unwind.

Visiting Tenganan Dauh Tukad, I stopped into Dapet, the house and workshop of Kadek Ardita, a lontar engraver, who showed me his work and also exlpained his families traditions of weaving Geringsing, the famous double-ikat cloth.

Finally on the way home riding through Sideman, I stopped at a roadside shack and enjoyed some lovely ikat laut (mashed fish grilled on a stick). If you are one of those people, who likes checking stuff out with your GPS, here are the coords for those places.
