Cartoon protests in Jakarta

A peaceful Sunday here in Bali saw Ika, Jevon and I eat lunch at Warung Jegog in Kuta before sitting under a tree on Kuta Beach. Things were not so peaceful in Jakarta however, where a few hundred fundamental Muslims attacked the US embassy.

Its not likely they were trying to kill anyone, and Americans probably have nothing to worry about. Similar demonstrations went on in London, where 15,000 people converged on Trafalgar Square. In other place such as Nigeria, rioting turned deadly with 16 people killed.

Here in Bali I have not even heard 1 person say anything a out the cartoons or the protests.
